Since 1973 I have lived at Newton on the Moor, with my family and have really come to love this unspoilt area of the country.
I am delighted to have been elected to represent the Shilbottle Ward in May 2007. I was a member and Chairman of the Newton on the Moor and Swarland Parish Council in the 1980's, but had to leave when my work commitments took me out of the area. However, I rejoined the parish council in May 2006, when my wanderings over Britain ceased.
When I first announced I was going to move to Northumberland a Professor of Geography asked me where it was? When I replied, north of Newcastle he said that was Scotland. How wrong he was and when I go south I realise how lucky I am to live in the Alnwick District, which is a beautiful unspoilt part of the Country.
I am on the council to help everyone in the area. If you wish to contact me please either send me an e-mail using the link on this page, phone or fax me on 01665 575956 or write to me at 21 Newton on the Moor, Morpeth, Northumberland, NE65 9JY. I look forward to helping anyone who wishes to contact me.
