Hollington Young People Ballot
Last October East Sussex County Council (ESCC) commissioned The Campaign Company (TCC) to work with young people in Hollington to find out what it is like for young people living in the area. The good news is that as a result of this work, ESCC is now able to provide £10,000 to enable children and young people in Hollington to practically address some of the issues they identified. ESCC has agreed to provide some money to be spent on youth-led community initiatives. - Play Equipment for the Wishing Tree Field Playground - Environment Awareness Event - Improvements to Hollington Youth Centre - Arts Event - Community Sports Event - Teen Library in Hollington Library Ballot papers are at - The Grove School - Rob sack Wood Community Primary - Hollington Community Primary - Hollington Youth Centre - Greater Hollington Partnership  

Church in the Wood Summer Fayre
Just to advise you about the joint Summer Fayre and Flower Festival which is happening next weekend, the 28th and 29th July. The Summer Fayre will run from 11am to 4pm on the Churchwood School Field on Saturday the 28th, while at the Church there will be a flower festival for the entire weekend finishing with a service at 6pm in the Church on Sunday the 29th. Funds now stands at over £20,000.  

Excellent Attendance at Church in the Wood Fayre
Despite the poor weather flocks of people attended the Church in the Wood Fayre. Campaigners reported they raised over £600 and to date the total raised is about £18,300!!! Later this year a bid will be submitted to English Heritage for further funding. Watch this space for future events!!!!!
