I have submitted the following resolution to the council, seconded by Cllr Webb:
"This Council agrees to sign up to the 10:10 climate change campaign. It will, therefore, aim to cut its carbon emissions by 10% in 2010 and will encourage individual residents of the town to strive to achieve the same target."

An application have been lodged for another student hall of residence on Western Road backing on to the existing one in the Adelphi Hotel. Another application has been put in to improve the historic shopfronts on Marina opposite Azur.
